Apl. Professur für Sportmedizin und Gesundheitsförderung

The former Department of Sports Medicine and Health Promotion has been under the interim directorship of apl. Prof. Dr. Christian Puta since April 2024. As of 1 October 2026, the apl. Professorship of Sports Medicine and Health Promotion will head the subject of Health Promotion. The apl. Professorship holds independent responsibility for research and teaching, together with the corporate status of an appointed professor (korporationsrechtliche Stellung eines berufenen Professors).

The central structural unit of the Health Promotion division is the EXERCISE IMMUNOLOGY AND HEALTH LAB.
