The Department of Sports Medicine and Health Promotion has been under the interim directorship of apl. Professor of Sports Medicine and Health Promotion Christian Puta since April 2024. Christian Puta additionally serves as head of the Health Promotion division. 
The central structural unit of the Health Promotion division is the EXERCISE IMMUNOLOGY AND HEALTH LAB.
