Research Seminar "Current Topics in Autism Research"
Our open colloquium "Research Seminars on Person Perception and Social Interaction: Current Topics in Autism Research" takes place monthly ...
To mark World Autism Awareness Day on 2 April 2026, we, as the Autism Research Group, would like to take this opportunity to discuss autism.
You are welcome to join us on the 18th floor of the JenTower from 9 am. In the seminar room, Andrea Kowallik will give a talk at 9.30 am on the current understanding of autism. From around 10 am to 12 noon, there will be an opportunity for discussion and questions. In addition, books will be made available, as well as leaflets. We are organising an online broadcast of the talk. A link is available on request. Anyone who knows they will be attending, or who has questions in advance, is welcome to contact sekretariat.allgpsy@uni-jena.de.
On this page, you find concurrent information about one-time events like our 10-Year anniversary in December, as well as periodic events like our Research Seminar Person Perception research Seminars: Current Topics in Autism Research and Network Meetings for our local Network and Research Unit members (held in German).
Our Research Seminar is a space for PhD candidates and postdocs as well as interested master’s students or members of the public to discuss their own research, relevant publications and Autism-related topics of interest. The Seminar is held monthly. Please find more information like logistics and previous contents on the Research Seminar’s Page linked below. There, and on Friedolin, we announce upcoming dates and topics at the start of each term.
The Netzwork meeting is targeted at our local Thuringian network of partners from research and practice, and is therefore held in German. Additionally, we have been Involved in several other Events in the past, cooperating with local treatment partners.
