On July 7, 2025 Prof. Dr. David Mann (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) held a guest lecture entitled "From natural towards representative decision making in sports" in our Master's seminar "Anticipation and Decision Making in Sport". This lecture aimed at providing deeper insights into a recent research article published by Prof. Mann and his research group: Janssen, T., Müller, D. & Mann, D.L. (2023). From natural towards representative decision making in sports: a framework for decision making in virtual and augmented environments. Sports Medicine, 53, 1851-1864. Students had the unique opportunity to learn from an internationally leading expert in this field, ask questions and discuss the state of the art. Thanks to Prof. Mann for giving our students such an exciting opportunity.
