The project led by our research associate Dr. Alon Markov-Glazer has been approved under the IMPULSE program. The project will run in 2026/2027 and examines resilience in children and adolescents with cochlear implants (CI).

Our currently ongoing study “Generations in Conversation” was recently featured in a television report by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR). The report provides illustrative insights into the aims and procedures of the study and highlights its scientific as well as societal relevance.
Dr. Antje Rauers has been awarded the 2025 Teaching Award of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena for the design of her Master's seminar “Out of the box – Developing an intervention to reduce negative age stereotypes”. We congratulate Dr. Rauers on this special recognition!

New research project “Parental influences on the development of age perceptions in preschool children” in cooperation with Prof. Anna Kornadt (University of Luxembourg) is funded by the German Research Foundation and the Luxembourg National Research Fund with a total of 775,146 Euros within the framework of the Lead Agency Agreement.
