Mein Forschungsinteresse liegt allgemein darin, die sozialen, moralischen und ideologischen Motive und Prozesse (z. B. Moralisierung) zu verstehen, die intergruppale Konflikte (z. B. Hassrede) sowie politisches (Des-)Engagement (z. B. im Kontext des Klimawandels oder des Russland-Ukraine-Kriegs) prägen.

Im Rahmen meines Dissertationsprojekts untersuche ich derzeit den Zusammenhang zwischen der politischen Ideologie von Individuen und ihrer Bewertung sowie Verbreitung von Online-Hassrede. 

Darüber hinaus interessiere ich mich besonders für Phänomene, die im Bereich der Moral- und Umweltpsychologie angesiedelt sind. Dazu zählen unter anderem die Frage, warum bestimmte Themen moralisiert werden, sowie die Analyse, wie Menschen über den Klimawandel denken, fühlen und handeln.
