The team at the Chair of School Pedagogy and Instructional Research is committed to supporting the next generation of educational researchers. To this end, we supervise empirically based theses for B.A. and M.A. programs, as well as academic papers written as part of teacher education programs. In line with the research-based learning approach, we regularly announce thesis topics drawn from our research projects.

Bachelor’s, Master’s and State Examination Theses
The Chair for Research on Teaching and Learning supervises B.A., M.A., and state examination theses on various topics in school pedagogy, teaching and learning research, and empirical educational research. The basic requirement is that topics be empirically oriented and, above all, relate to the topics listed in the call for proposals.
If you are interested in writing a thesis at the department, please contact the chair of the department as well as the research associates.
