As part of various research projects, freely accessible online courses on various topics related to teacher professional development have been created.
The online course Role(s) (in) Learning Support is aimed at interested teachers and mentors. It invites participants to use the provided materials to reflect on their own role(s) in supporting prospective teachers and, if necessary, to develop an alternative understanding of their role. On the course’s subpage, you’ll find further information about the content and how to participate.
The online course Classroom Communication That Promotes Learning is designed for interested teachers and mentors. Using the materials provided, course participants can explore concrete examples of classroom communication that promotes learning. On the course’s subpage, you’ll find further information about the content and how to enroll.
The online course Participatory Classroom Design is also aimed at interested (pre-service) teachers interested in the topic of participation. It aims not only to help participants understand participation as a theoretical concept but also to introduce them to concrete ways in which it can be implemented in the classroom.
The online course Initiating and Promoting Participation Through Digital Tools focuses on practical and inspiring ways to actively shape participation in schools and classrooms using digital tools and to make it a tangible experience for students. The goal is to provide interested (pre-service) teachers with specific digital tools and methods that can be used to integrate participation into the classroom in a sustainable way.
