Prof. Kreuder-Sonnen promoted following successful tenure-track evaluation
University President Andreas Marx appoints Christian Kreuder-Sonnen to Full Professor

On 30 September 2025, Christian Kreuder-Sonnen was appointed Full Professor by University President Andreas Marx.
The promotion marks the successful completion of a six-year junior professorship, which—after positive mid-term and final evaluations—has now been converted into a permanent full professorship.
Prof. Kreuder-Sonnen looks forward to further developing, together with his team, the teaching and research portfolio on international organization and global governance that has been built up over recent years and to strengthening its institutional foundations in Jena.
