Main research areas
My research lies at the interface of developmental psychopathology, clinical neuroscience and health services research in childhood and adolescence. I investigate transdiagnostic mechanisms of psychological difficulties, with a focus on ADHD, autism, affective dysregulation and social behaviour disorders.
Methodologically, I combine neurobiological markers (particularly EEG/ERP), experimental paradigms, longitudinal designs and digital methods relevant to everyday life. The aim is to identify neurobehavioural profiles relevant to development and to make them clinically applicable.
A key translational focus of my work is on personalised intervention approaches using neurofeedback and biofeedback, including in combination with behaviour-based techniques. The central question here is: who benefits from which treatment, when and why?
In the long term, the aim is to develop more precise, scalable and practice-oriented models in child and adolescent psychiatry – through close collaboration between research, clinical practice and the real-life context.

Climate CV
The urgency of climate action for humanity has been scientifically proven. This requires both societal and individual contributions. As a scientist, I am building on the work of the Environmental Psychology Research Group at RPTU Landau to transparently outline the contributions I am endeavouring to make and to stimulate discussions on climate protection at the university and within the scientific community.
