Forschungsschwerpunkte

Meine Forschung liegt an der Schnittstelle von Entwicklungspsychopathologie, klinischer Neurowissenschaft und Versorgungsforschung im Kindes- und Jugendalter. Ich untersuche transdiagnostische Mechanismen psychischer Auffälligkeiten mit Schwerpunkten auf ADHS, Autismus, affektiver Dysregulation und Störungen des Sozialverhaltens.

Methodisch verbinde ich neurobiologische Marker (insbesondere EEG/ERP), experimentelle Paradigmen, längsschnittliche Designs und alltagsnahe digitale Verfahren. Ziel ist es, entwicklungsrelevante neurobehaviorale Profile zu identifizieren und klinisch nutzbar zu machen.

Ein zentraler translationaler Fokus meiner Arbeit liegt auf personalisierten Interventionsansätzen mit Neurofeedback und Biofeedback, auch in Kombination mit verhaltensorientierten Verfahren. Dabei steht die Frage im Mittelpunkt, wer von welcher Behandlung wann und warum profitiert.

Langfristig geht es um präzisere, skalierbare und versorgungsnahe Modelle in der Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie – in enger Verbindung von Forschung, Klinik und Lebenswelt.

    Die Dringlichkeit von Klimaschutz für die Menschheit ist wissenschaftlich belegt. Dazu gehören sowohl gesellschaftliche wie auch individuelle Beiträge. Als Wissenschaftler knüpfe ich an Überlegungen der Arbeitsgruppe Umweltpsychologie an der RPTU Landau an, transparent dazustellen, welche Beiträge ich versuche zu leisten und Diskussionen zu Klimaschutz an der Universität und in der Wissenschaft anzustoßen.
