Adaptive Learning Support during the Practical Semester

Academic support is considered a key element in the effectiveness of school-based internships. Adaptive learning support — defined as the targeted adjustment of mentors’ support to pre-service teachers’ expectations and needs — is viewed as conducive to learning. The aim of this study is to examine pre-service teachers’ perspectives regarding their preferences and attitudes toward mentors’ support styles and the strategies that guide their actions.
