How to Get to Jena

The nearest major airports are:
- Frankfurt/Main Airport (FRA): large, international airport with train connections to Jena via Erfurt or Weimar
- Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ): approximately 1.5 hours by train
- Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER): around 3.5 to 4 hours by train, depending on the connection

By Train
Jena has five train stations in total. The most important ones are Jena Paradies and Jena West.
- Jena Paradies: Centrally located near the city center, long-distance ICE/IC trains as well as regional connections from Naumburg, Halle (Saale), Leipzig and surrounding areas.
- Jena West: centrally located near the city center, regional connections especially from Erfurt, Gera, and Weimar.

By Car
Jena is conveniently located along the A4 motorway. Use the exits Jena-Zentrum or Jena-Göschwitz for direct access to the city.
