Pre-Conference Programme

Lab tours have two different thematic foci – one on the DogLab (Humboldtstrasse 11) https://www.fsv.uni-jena.de/en/66220/dogstudies that is affiliated with the Department of general psychology led by Prof. Dr. Stefan R. Schweinberger. This laboratory is led by PD Dr. Juliane Bräuer. The other focus is on the general psychology core department labs (Am Steiger 3/1) https://www.fsv.uni-jena.de/en/58707/general-psychology-i. The two locations are just 200 m apart from each other. For each of the locations, we offer two slots.

Second, we are very proud to announce a demo of the Motion Composer by the developer Robert Wechsler himself! This will take place on Tuesday 18:30 at the conference hall (lecture hall 02 of the Carl-Zeiss-Straße 3). The Motion Composer is an interactive machine that captures your dancing movements and turns it into music, therefore allowing people of all capacities to create music with their bodies! Robert Wechsler will introduce the machine and its possibilities.

For Tuesday evening, we will soon communicate a location where you can meet up for a pre-conference drink and meet the others!
